Artwork Approval

Once we have received your order one of our design team will check that everything is to give the all-clear however don't worry if we notice something is wrong we will always get in touch and clarify what it is we need exactly or if you are happy to continue with the design you submitted.

If we are unable to use your artwork we offer a design service to make amendments or recreate your design when eligible. This service is subject to a fee, however, you will own the new design which we will send to you.

When selecting Rush Order please send your artwork by noon so that we can fulfill the order as quick as possible. Failure to do so will result in a delayed order.

Print

Vector AI, EPS or SVG Files

Providing the original editable artwork file (Adobe Suite, PDF, EPS) is best for vector artwork. When sending this file type, please ensure your software is set up correctly - use CMYK colour space, and convert all type to paths and sized correctly. Be careful when including images, making sure they are embedded and do not have white backgrounds.

Using PNG Files

PNG is the preferred file format, enabling high-quality, colour-accurate and ready-to-print artwork with transparent backgrounds. When sending a PNG file type, ensure the background is transparent so the artwork does not print with a white background. Otherwise, there will be an option to remove the background for a fee.

PSD Files

Artwork files must be accurately sized to prevent pixelation and must be at least 300 DPI. The colour space of your design software should be set to CMYK. Please consider if the artwork needs a transparent background and remove any layers to reflect this. If the artwork does have a background, it will incur an extra cost if you wish to have it removed. This is not a preferred method and may incur extra costs if we have to amend the file.

CMYK Colour Settings For Print

Be aware the printer uses CMYK for print. If your artwork uses RGB colour space it may appear duller once printed. To get the most accurate colours, set your colour space to use CMYK.

Using JPEG Files

When using JPG files please be aware this will include all the elements within the artwork. Any white backgrounds, watermarks or artefacts will be printed. If you require any edits such as background removal, this can be provided for a fee.

Convert Type Into Paths/Shapes

If your design has any type then you need to make sure that it is converted to paths/shapes. This ensures that the font will not change when our design team opens your artwork.

Using PDF Files

PDFs need to be created from vector files and still be able to maintain the ability to edit. The saving of a bitmap file as a PDF won't be accepted as it is still a bitmap and wouldn’t be usable and possibly be subject to a re-design fee.

Embroidery

High-resolution JPG, BMP, TIF, EPS, AI

All file types are accepted given they are of high-quality resolution, with embroidery there is always a one-time setup fee for the logo/design to be digitised (make the file into a format compatible for embroidery) this will be a one-time fee and your artwork will be held on file for future orders.
